About Us
Kevin Adler
Kevin Adler is Toyger's evidently scowling drummer. He also furrows his brow with local jazz quartet Inside Pocket.
Jason Buck
Jason was born and raised in Brookfield, WI and has resided in Madison since 2004. In addition to Toyger, he currently plays tenor and alto saxophone in Madison based soul/funk band The Civil Engineers and jazz quartet Barley Wine.
Claire Kannapell
Originally a classical pianist, Claire is now a double bassist who performs with Toyger and the folk-funk Old Oaks Trio. She also performs hilarious and wonderful improv comedy with The Monkey Business Institute.
Garrick Rohm
A multi-instrumentalist and composer, Garrick began his professional music career performing as a tenor soloist and flautist in Wisconsin Master Chorale 2004-2006. Garrick studied at UW-Madison, where he performed in Concert Band (flute), Concert Choir (tenor and soloist), Jazz Combo (keys), Big Band (piano), Richard Davis' Black Music Ensemble (piano), toured with Wisconsin Singers for three years (synthesizer and guitar) and earned a Bachelor of the Arts in Music Composition.
Throughout the years he has made appearances with other Madison area groups, including Green Means Go, Ben Ferris, Barley Wine, Devil's Fen, Kikeh Mato, Lo Marie, and various jazz combos. In addition to Toyger, Garrick currently plays electric piano, clavinet, and organ in the Madison soul/funk band The Civil Engineers, which won the Madison Area Music Award for 2018 Pop/R&B Album of the year.
